Milan are currently dealing with a number of injuries heading into their upcoming Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, according to journalist Peppe Di Stefano who revealed the latest news on SkySport Italy.
Di Stefano confirmed that, “Loftus-Cheek has fully recovered. He will start with Krunic and Reijnders against Dortmund.” It looks promising for Loftus-Cheek, returning from injury to join his teammates Krunic and Reijnders in Milan’s upcoming match.
However, the prospects are less encouraging for Milan’s attack. The SkySport journalist indicated that there were no recovery chances for Okafor and Leao in time for the next Champions League match. This can potentially have a significant impact on Milan’s forward line against Borussia Dortmund.
As is often the case with sports injuries, it’s a mixed bag for AC Milan. While Loftus-Cheek’s return to fitness is a boost, the continued absence of Okafor and Leao will be a concern heading into a crucial game.
