In the latest Serie A transfer developments, two clubs have reportedly shown interest in acquiring Napoli’s midfielder Piotr Zielinski for the upcoming season. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both Juventus and Inter Milan have expressed positive views about the Polish player, whose contract with Napoli is set to expire in June 2024.
In a potentially zero-cost deal, both clubs are said to be open to the possibility of signing Zielinski should he part ways with Napoli. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that “Zielinski’s management have been met with positive feedback from both Juve and Inter”.
While no direct statements were attributed to either of the clubs or Zielinski himself, both Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly eyeing the Polish midfielder as a potential asset for their respective squads.
Serie A followers are now speculating on the likelihood of Zielinski making a move in the summer, with contract talks between the player and Napoli still yet to be confirmed.
It remains uncertain where Zielinski will make his home for the 2024 season but it seems safe to say that he is seen as a desirable addition by two of Italy’s leading clubs.
