Roma’s right-back Rick Karsdorp has spoken to Sky Sport before their Europa League match against Sheriff.
Karsdorp reportedly feels at his best, having fully recovered physically. “I’m 100% fit,” Karsdorp told Sky Sport. He also acknowledged that coach Paulo Fonseca has options with the likes of Kristensen at his disposal, but emphasized he was feeling good.
The dynamic defender appeared optimistic about Roma’s prospects in the match, hinting at the possibility of a significant victory. “Let’s win this game first, we can even win by a margin of five goals. Then we’ll see,” Karsdorp stated.
Karsdorp has set his sights high with regards to Roma’s ambitions in the Europa League. Responding to the question of whether the ultimate goal is getting back to the Europa League finals, Karsdorp made it clear that they indeed aspire to reach the finals again, but with a different outcome. He asserted, “Why not. Our intention is to replay the final, but winning it this time.”
