Leandro Paredes, the midfield maestro from Roma, has shared his future plans in an interview with Argentine media outlet Dsports.
Paredes made a sincere declaration about his future, saying: “When I stop playing, I will come to live in Rome, but first, I will return to Boca. This is something I have been clear about since the day I left, sooner or later, I will return.”
These comments indicate an evident devotion to his previous club, Boca Juniors, despite his current tenure with Roma.
The Argentine further spoke about fellow countryman, Paulo Dybala, hinting at a potential move for Dybala. However, he did not directly name the Juventus forward’s next destination. He said, “Dybala’s a Boca fan, it’s impossible for him to go to River Plate. I want to bring him with me.”
It appears that Paredes holds his previous club in high regard and anticipates a reunion with them in the future. Furthermore, his expressed intent to entice Dybala to join in his return indicates the keenness of the midfielder to revive a familiar partnership on the Boca Juniors grounds. However, only time will determine the veracity of these statements.
