Ivan Juric, Torino’s head coach, has expressed his hopes of continuing the team’s current form ahead of their match against Frosinone.
Juric showed confidence in his team, saying at a recent press conference, “I have been seeing determination for quite some time, for a couple of months. We train well and focused, with the desire to improve. The performances are the consequence of the attitude”.
As for their obstinate opposition, the Torino coach acknowledges the difficulties of the upcoming encounter. “Frosinone? They have a lot of talented boys, they trouble everyone. At home, they are devastating; their stadium is nice and small, and the fans push them on. It will be tough, it is a mid-table clash. There are many good teams, it’s hard to score points and we are all close”, he said.
Juric also commended Frosinone’s players, saying that they are exceptionally well-trained and attribute this to brilliant choices by their sporting director.
In terms of his own side, he hailed Torino’s forward partnership between Antonio Sanabria and Duván Zapata. “From the beginning, I’ve seen them perform well. They speak Spanish and spend a lot of time together. They get along on a human level too. They have played excellent games and scored the other day. In other cases too, I have been pleased. I hope they continue this way”, Juric added.
