Milan, Pioli says Loftus-Cheek not recovered, will not play

AC Milan’s head coach Stefano Pioli has spoken ahead of the Serie A match against Lecce. Speaking to Dazn, Pioli expressed his optimism and determination for the upcoming game.

According to Piolo, “Our goal is to try to play well, better than our opponents, to win the match, knowing the difficulties that may arise. We will have to be very careful in both phases of the game.”

Regarding the team’s lineup, Pioli mentioned, “Ruben [Loftus-Cheek] returned after 40 days and had an exceptional game from all points of view. He is with us but will hardly be able to play.”

Furthermore, Pioli commented on the need for other players to step up, stating, “Pobega will have to integrate with his characteristics, as everyone will have to do.”
