Borussia Dortmund’s Sancho leans towards staying: Two options reportedly considered

Jadon Sancho, a professional footballer who has returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan after a less than satisfactory stint at Manchester United, might just end up staying on a more permanent basis, as per transfer speculations.

It has been three seasons since Manchester United chose to invest £73 million to bring Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. However, since then, Sancho’s value as a player has depreciated week by week due to various factors, including his underwhelming performance in the English Premier League.

These contributing factors gave rise to the idea of sending him back to Dortmund, where, in spite of not posting impressive numbers (one goal and two assists in eight games), he has, at least, regained his confidence and probably a bit of tranquillity. According to ‘The Daily Mail’, the born-2000 player might continue his run in the Bundesliga.

The British tabloid explains two possible scenarios – either the extension of the loan until 2025 or the addition of Donyell Malen and some financial elements in the negotiation to definitively bring Sancho back in black and yellow. This news raises questions about Sancho’s football journey and whether his future lies with the Bundesliga or a return to the Premier League.
