Donny Van de Beek, a new signing for Eintracht Frankfurt, has described his reasons for choosing to leave Manchester United in an interview with Bild.

Before signing his contract with the German club, Van de Beek reveals he had in-depth discussions with Markus Kroesche, the team’s sporting director, and Holger Topmoller, the head coach. He felt positive about the ideas they shared about the club’s playing style and overall vision.

Van de Beek said, “The discussions I had were excellent, and this was most important to me. The initial feelings were very positive.” He also mentioned how his attention has long been attracted by Bundesliga, particularly when his fellow countrymen Arjen Robben, Mark van Bommel, and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar made headlines.

Expressing admiration for these players, he disclosed that they not only inspired him, but also acted as role models. In addition to this, Van de Beek admitted having engaged in a conversation with another compatriot, Matthijs de Ligt about the German league.
