Napoli’s Politano attracting offers from Arabia, agent reveals

Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Napoli star Matteo Politano, has provided some insight into the footballer’s future during an interview with CalcioNapoli24.

Giuffredi confirmed that there are genuine offers from Saudi Arabia for Politano, but also stated that the player has always envisaged ending his career at Napoli, like his teammate Di Lorenzo. “The choice and decision we leave it to the president, who is aware of everything,” Giuffredi disclosed.

Speaking on the topic of a contract renewal, Giuffredi admitted that they had been discussing it for many months. Apparently, Politano is anticipating the fulfilment of certain promises made to him. Giuffredi said, “we know we have to make a significant economic sacrifice, and he wants to do it to stay in Napoli, but we cannot pretend nothing has happened and just get by forever.”

This indicates that Politano is potentially willing to accept less money to secure his future in Napoli, however, it remains clear that negotiations for new term are ongoing with the club’s officials.
