Bologna makes decision on Karlsson-Brekalo swap

Negotiations for the football transfer deal between Bologna and Fiorentina involving players Karlsson and Brekalo seem to have hit a hurdle, according to Italian newspaper Resto del Carlino. It notes that Karlsson, former AZ player, has not lived up to expectations in his initial months in Serie A. However, Bologna is willing to give the player another chance.

Bologna’s football director, Sartori, is also reportedly interested in Ivorian footballer Christian Kouamé. However, this negotiation is thought to be complex due to possible contract renewal discussions with Fiorentina.
