Sensational: Verona under seizure, bankruptcy investigation underway

A sensational case has broken at Hellas Verona FC as an investigation into the club’s president, Maurizio Setti, has been initiated by the prosecutor’s office in Verona.

The soccer club has been officially seized due to a suspected fraudulent bankruptcy by Setti.

It appears the Verona president has been accused of illegitimately moving the club from the share packet of one of his companies that went bankrupt in 2021. Setti allegedly feigned the sale of Hellas Verona without paying its equivalent, thus financially benefiting from it.
