Pasalic delighted with goal in 200th Atalanta game, labels Ilicic a legend

Atalanta midfielder Mario Pasalic shared his thoughts with Sky Sport following the team’s victory against Salernitana.

The day marked Pasalic’s landmark 200th appearance with Atalanta, and he expressed his joy over the win. He was particularly pleased about scoring a goal on such a pivotal day for him personally.

Speaking about the match, Pasalic said, “It was a tough game because Salernitana gave their best. They prepared well for the match, and we were fortunate to score early in the second half. Our win against Milan has given us confidence. We’ve realised that we can compete, and we’re climbing in the rankings.”

Pasalic also touched on their upcoming match against Bologna, expressing optimism. He said, “It will be a great match. They’ve been doing very well this year, especially at home, but we’re going there to win.”
