Bologna’s Calafiori: We Work Well and It Shows on the Field

Bologna defender, Riccardo Calafiori, has expressed his delight following the team’s win over Roma. He was speaking after the game to sports broadcaster DAZN.

Reflecting on the club’s recent success, he said, “People are perfectly right to be moved, what we’re doing is extraordinary, we work well, and you can see that on the pitch.” He went on to emphasise the hard work of the squad, noting that they approach each game individually and that it won’t be easy.

The young centre-back, who can also fit in at full-back or in midfield, discussing his versatility, stated, “I like to play every match.”

Calafiori also commented on being given the captain’s armband, saying that it was “something special” that he didn’t expect. It indeed marked a significant moment in his career, as he secured his position in Bologna’s first eleven.
