Milan defence emergency: Pioli turns to young Simic

AC Milan continues to face a defensive crisis, with manager Stefano Pioli possibly considering debuting class 2005 player, Simic, against Monza, as reported by Italian sports daily, La Gazzetta dello Sport.

This defensive emergency for the Milanese giants has been exacerbated by the absence of their star player Davide Calabria due to his dismissal in the previous game against Atalanta.

As of now, Simic appears to be the favourite to complete the defence quartet alongside Alessandro Florenzi, Fikayo Tomori, and Theo Hernandez, edging out competitor Bartesaghi.
