Frosinone, Gelli: Astonished to be here after being out of squad

Frosinone midfielder Francesco Gelli spoke with Sky Sport after the match against Torino, which ended in a nil-nil draw.

“We have absences in midfield,” Gelli stated, “but one of our strengths is managing to make up for these shortcomings and always doing well.”

He further revealed that exactly a year ago, he was left out from the squad, asserting that being here now gives him a feeling that’s indescribable. “The hard graft is so much worth it, it’s thrilling,” Gelli told Sky Sport.
